Are you an authorized representative for immigration to Canada?

Yes. By virtue of the fact that we are licensed lawyers in Canada, we are authorized representatives for you for immigration to Canada. Only Lawyers and Immigration Consultants can represent you before Citizenship and Immigration Canada or any Canadian embassy. Our Immigration Lawyers have dealt with over 17 Canadian Embassies and various Citizenship and Immigration Canada Offices across Canada.

What is the difference between an Immigration Lawyer and an Immigration Consultant?

An Immigration Lawyer usually spend an average of 8 years in university settings to obtain their two degrees. After completion of university studies, Immigration Lawyers spends 10 months to train and then write their licensing exams to become lawyers. Due to these reasons, they have a better understanding of Canada's immigration law.

Also, Immigration Lawyers can go to Federal Court to argue for you if your application is refused.

Whereas, Immigration Consultants spend only one year in college to obtain a certificate and write their licencing exam. As a result, they have a lesser understanding of immigration law.

Also, Immigration Consultant cannot appear in Federal Court on your behalf if your application is refused.

What do you do during a consultation?

During a consultation, we listen to you to better understand your situation. We review the information you provide us including any documents (if applicable) and analyze them. We then look at how Canada's immigration law apply to your situation.

We will advise you on the proper course of action to take to address your situation. We also use this time to explain to you what you can expect from us if you retain/hire us to act for you/represent you.

Do you charge a consultation fee?

Yes. For a 30 minute consultation, the consultation fee is $ 65.00 (HST already included). For a one hour consultation, the consultation fee of $ 113 .00 (HST already included).
